How is discipline enforced in the school?
We enforce discipline through dialogue. The student is spoken to and corrected. He/She is then given time to reflect and correct his/her behavior, Rigid rules and punishments are not enforced at K B School of Excellence.
What is the normal admission procedure?
Admission is granted on the basis of an interview and an entrance test evaluation, which is conducted by the school. Overseas students may be granted admission based on their previous school records, but will under go a similar evaluation before being allocated the class.
What are the documents required for admission?
The application form: Filled in application for admission in the prescribed form.
Recent photographs: 8 Passport size colour photographs that are to be enclosed along with the application form.
Registration fee: Non-refundable & Non-Transferable account payee bank draft for the registration fee, drawn in favour of KB School of Excellence.
The Health Certificate: A medical certificate duly filled and signed by a registered Medical Practitioner / Physician.

Career guidance and counseling are very much a part of the curriculum and are woven into the curriculum along with development of career skills.

STATE BOARD, English is the medium of instruction and Telugu / Hindi is to be studied as the first language. The options for second language are Hindi / Telugu and Third Language is English.

What if my child is not a self-directed learner?
Our teaching methodology addresses all types of learners, above average and below average. Children are given tasks and assignments based on their learning capacity. Children who are not self-directed learners are placed in remedial programmes to help them learn better. We also have special language and Math Labs to ensure that children learn through practical experience. This helps them retain the information and forms a strong foundation.
How are parents involved in the educational process?
The reports that are based on inputs from teachers who interact with the child in the classrooms and dormitories is on a regular basis. They reflect the performance of the student over the course of the term and give a clear picture of his/her progress. The reports are meant to be descriptive and constructive rather than judgmental.

Please describe the Laboratory facilities?
The science labs are well designed, spacious and well equipped, and in the computer lab each student has an exclusive computer to operate. The computer lab has modern multimedia systems. It also has a collection of CDs for self –learning, and one can download the required information via Internet.
What library facilities are available?
A modern library with a large collection of carefully selected books is available, with a qualified and enthusiastic librarian to guide the children. The library has a collection of encyclopedias, audio / video CD’s that are available for students to prepare for projects, presentations etc.
What sort of accommodation facilities is available?
KB provides well-designed, comfortable, separate dormitories for boys and girls. Each block has a common lounge, a TV and a recreation place. The dormitories have adequate support staff that work under the supervision of Warden and House Master.
What are the dining facilities at KB?
There is a central Dining Hall well ventilated and delightfully arranged with semi-covered and covered eating areas. The dining block includes a state-of-the art kitchen that is designed for hygienic and streamlined food preparation, and the menus incorporate nutritionally balanced age appropriate food of Indian.
Are health care and utility services available in the campus?
There is a well-equipped infirmary with a Nurse on full time duty, Doctors on call, and a regular health supervision routine. KB has a tie-up with local hospitals. Regular checkups are carried out to monitor children’s progress.
What are the sports facilities available?
Students can choose from a wide option of sports and games. Sports complex includes Cricket net practice ground, two swimming pools one for swimmers and other for kids or beginners, Big Table Tennis Hall, Volleyball Court, Basketball Court, Tennis Court, Badminton court and skating rink.
What are the extra curricular activities and when do they take place?
Extra curricular activities are integrated into the entire curriculum, and take place at different hours across the day. They include a range of the activities in and outside school, and include the visual arts (painting, craft, etc), performing arts (dance, music, etc) and outbound activities (excursions, social work projects), clubs (Performing Arts Club, Kids Club etc).
What kind of cultural environment will there be?
The environment places emphasis on a value-based education while inculcating our Indian culture. We also believe that children today need to know about the diversity of India as well as be exposed to international culture.
